Production
In September 2019, it was announced Amanda Seyfried, Finn Wittrock, Amy Irving, Jennifer Carpenter, and Paul Giamatti had joined the cast of the film, with Amy Koppelman directing from a screenplay she wrote.[1] Principal photography began in September 2019.[2]
Release
In April 2021, Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions acquired worldwide distribution rights to the film.[3] It was released on October 29, 2021.[4]
Reception
On review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, 67% of 15 critics have given the film a positive review, with an average rating of 6.10/10.[5] On Metacritic, the film has a weighted average score of 51 out of 100 based on eight critics, indicating "mixed or average reviews".[6]
