Abby Finkenauer is the Iowa State Representative from the 99th District. A Democrat, she has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2015.[1] Finkenauer was born, raised, and resides in Dubuque, Iowa.[1]

As of March 2016, Finkenauer serves on the following committees in the Iowa House: Economic Growth, Labor, Transportation, and Ways and Means. She is also a member of the Economic Development Appropriations Subcommittee.[1]

Congressional campaign

In May 2017, Finkenauer announced her candidacy for the United States House of Representatives seat currently held by Republican Rod Blum.[2]
