Access Bank Zambia Limited, commonly referred to as Access Bank Zambia, is a commercial bank in Zambia. It is one of the commercial banks licensed by the Bank of Zambia, the national banking regulator.[1]

As of December 2010 Access Bank Zambia had assets valued at approximately US$86.4 million (ZMW:432 million).[2]

History

The bank, which was established in 2009, is a subsidiary of Access Bank Group, an international bank that maintains headquarters in Nigeria and has subsidiaries in over ten countries in Africa and Europe.

By virtue of its shareholding, Access Bank Zambia is a member of the Access Bank Group, a financial services conglomerate, whose shares are listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange and whose total asset valuation exceeded US$6.58 billion (NGN: 1 trillion), as of September 2010.[3]
