Afikpo North is a Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Nigeria. Its headquarters is in the town of Ehugbo, Afikpo. Its important cities are Unwana, Itim, Ohaisu, Nkpoghoro, Ugwuegu/Amaizu, Ozizza, Amasiri, Ibii/Akpoha .
It has an area of 240km² and a population of 156,611 at the 2006 census. Its postal code is 490.[1]
