Agnifera is an Indian television series that airs on &TV [1] It is produced and directed by well-known Director Ravi Raj (R&R Creations).[2] Agniphera is the story of two brides and one groom.[3] The groom is played by Ankit Gera whose character has graduated from London [4] and the brides are played by Yukti Kapoor and Simaran Kaur. Ragini Singh (Yukti Kapoor) is loud mouthed and bold [5] while the other bride Shrishti is studying law.[6].

Story

Agnifera is the story of two girls named Shrishti (Simraan Kaur) and Ragini (Yukti Kapoor) who loves a handsome boy, Anurag (Ankit Gera). Shrishti's marriage is fixed with Anurag but Ragini forcefully marries Anurag and Shrishti marries Anurag's younger brother Vishu (Mohak Khurana), who is mentally unstable. Shrishti marries Baiju after Vishu's death.

In Ragini and Anurag's life, Anurag's mother, Revati, who does not like Ragini, for her goonish behavior, plans to separate Ragini and Anurag. While Ragini and Anurag go on their honeymoon along with Shrishti, Vishu, Revati, and Dulari (Singh Family maid), Revati tells Ragini to approach Anurag as another persona, Sangini, to see if Anurag really loves her. Ragini dresses as a modern girl Sangini in front of Anurag and acts as Anurag's dream girl, educated, literate, and independent. At a party, Dulari puts an intoxicating pill in Anurag's drink, which makes him kiss Ragini, while she is dressed like Sangini. Now believing Anurag does not love her, she plans to divorce Anurag. Just as this happens, Vishu dies trying save Shrishti. Due to the sudden demise of Vishu, Ragini stays with Anurag's family, to help them return to their original happy state. But within a few days, she feels uncomfortable living as Anurag's wife, as she believes he does not love her. She ends up leaving Anurag and goes back to her parents house. Vikraal, Ragini's father, decides to get Ragini married to someone else, and Anurag decides to win back Ragini's love. He eventually succeeds and they are once again married. After a few months, Ragini and Anurag find out that Ragini is pregnant, and they become even closer. During this time, Ragini's father comes with an accident, that leaves him paralyzed and not able to run his political party. Ragini decides to assume her father's work, which Anurag disapproves, since she is pregnant and should be taking care of herself. She goes back to being her goonish self, from prior to marriage, which shocks the whole family. In order to keep her away from all the politics, Anurag makes a plan to keep her busy in studies. Ragini figures out Anurag's plan and get very mad at him. In the heat of the argument, Ragini says she would choose her father over Anurag. Later, Ragini falls down the stairs while talking to Shrishti and is rushed to the hospital. At the hospital, the doctor asks Anurag to choose to save either Ragini or the baby. Anurag chooses Ragini. Anurag and Ragini finally understand each other and start their relationship anew.

In Shrishti and Vishu's marriage, Shrishti and Vishu start to have feelings for each other and even go on a double honeymoon with Ragini and Anurag, and Revathi and Dulari. During the honeymoon, a contract killer, who follows Shrishti and tries to kill her on many occasions, kidnaps Shrishti. Vishu goes looking for her and eventually finds Shrishti before the killer can finish his job. The killer and Vishu have a big fight in which a severely injured Vishu pushes the killer off a cliff and into a river. He also falls of the cliff and into the river. Unfortunately the police are only able to find the body of the killer and not Vishu. The story then introduces Baiju (Ayaz Ahmed), a goon, whom Shrishti slaps in anger. Baiju and Shrishti start meeting in unfortunate circumstances and are forced into getting married to each other. Unknown to the family, Baiju only married Shrishti to get revenge for Shrishti slapping him. He tortures her to no end, even going as far as selling her to a brothel, until one day his mother asks him to stop, as Shrishti saved her life. From then on Baiju starts to develop feelings for Shrishti. While Shrishti is also starting to feel Baiju as a friend, the lookalike of Vishu (DJ Shanky), appears in Shrishti's life. She goes on a mission to find out if Vishu is still alive. After finding out that DJ Shanky is in fact Vishu, who has lost his memory after the accident, she brings him back to the Singh's to try and regain his memory. Seeing Shrishti's love for Vishu, Baiju gets jealous and realizes he has fallen in love with Shrishti. Revathi and Dulari are making plans to bring Vishu and Shrishti back together. When Shrishti faints, the Singh family calls a doctor to check her health. He announces she is pregnant. Revathi brainwashes Vishu into thinking the baby is his. Baiju catches Revathi bribing a doctor to make Shrishti seem pregnant. Revathi emotionally blackmails Baiju into leaving Shrishti. He pays an actress named Damini to pose as his ex-fiance. Shrishti figures out the truth and declares her love to Baiju. Baiju and Shrishti declare their love in front of the whole family and Vishu gets significantly upset.
