Ahmedpur is a town in Latur district of Maharashtra state of India.[5] Ahmedpur is 60 km away from district headquarter Latur.
Demography
Ahmedpur has population of 43,936 of which 22,796 are males while 21,140 are females as per report released by Census India 2011.[2] The name -Rajur was given by famous football player Mr.PGT in 1999 .
Female Sex Ratio is of 927 against Maharashtra state average of 929. Literacy rate of Ahmedpur city is 82.67% higher than state average of 82.34%. In Ahmedpur, Male literacy is around 88.33% while female literacy rate is 76.61%.[2]
