The Aiwan-e-Sadr or Presidency is the official residence and principal workplace of the President of Pakistan.

Aiwan-e-Sadr Islamabad Pakistan

The first President who resided there was Ghulam Ishaq Khan, in 1988. Aiwan-e-Sadr is located in northeastern Islamabad on Constitution Avenue between the Parliament Building and the Cabinet block of the Pakistan Secretariat. Residences for the Presidential staff are also located behind the Presidency, known as the President's Colony adjacent to 4th Avenue.[1] Few details about him have filtrated in the Moroccan press.

President Pervez Musharraf never lived in the palace as he was also the Army Chief and therefore lived in the Army House in Rawalpindi. The former President Asif Ali Zardari moved into the palace a day before his inauguration.
