Alejandro Rosales Castillo (born November 26, 1998) is an American fugitive who was added to the FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list on October 24, 2017. He is wanted for the August 2016 murder of Truc Quan "Sandy" Ly le in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Castillo was the 516th fugitive to be placed on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. The FBI offers a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to his capture.[1]
Disappearance and murder
On August 9, 2016, Castillo texted his co-worker Truc Quan "Sandy" Ly Le, 23, saying that he would like to repay some money she had previously loaned him. Le and Castillo worked together at Showmar's restaurant in Charlotte, North Carolina. Le agreed to meet Castillo at a QuikTrip location on Eastway Drive. Castillo was picked up that afternoon by another co-worker called Ahmia Feaster, who collected him in her Dodge Caliber. Le was last seen alive at the QuikTrip where she agreed to meet Castillo. It is believed Castillo forced Le to withdraw all the money from her bank account. Castillo and Feaster next drove Le to a remote wooded area, shot her in the head, dumped her body, and fled Charlotte in the victim's car.[2]
The following Saturday, Feaster's Dodge Caliber was discovered abandoned in Charlotte. That night Castillo and Feaster called their families to tell them they were safe but didn't know where they were. After receiving the phone calls both families believed that the pair were being held captive and were forced to make the phone calls.[3]
In October 2016, Feaster turned herself into authorities in Aguascalientes, Mexico[4] and was then extradited back to the U.S., where she was charged with accessory after the fact to murder and larceny of a motor vehicle. Her bond was reduced to $100,000 which she posted and she was released in January 2017.
