Alessandro Rodrigo da Silva (born 28 August 1984) is a visually impaired Brazilian Paralympic athlete.[1]

Career

He represented Brazil at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and he won the gold medal in the discus throw F11 event.[1][2][3] He also competed in the shot put F12 event where he finished in 10th place.[1][4]

At the 2017 World Para Athletics Championships he won the gold medal in the discus throw F11 event. At the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships he won the gold medal in the discus throw F11 event and the bronze medal in the shot put F11 event.[5][6][7] He again won the gold medal in the discus throw F11 event at the 2023 World Para Athletics Championships.
