Anil Gharai (alt., Anil Ghařāi, Anil Gharai (Bengali: অনিল ঘড়াই) is a Bengali writer from the state of West Bengal in India.[1] He was born in 1957 in Rukminipur near Egra in what is now Purba Medinipur district.[2] His first short story was published in 1990 in Desh patrika. He is an author of 74 books. He was also a railway signal and telecommunication engineer in Indian Railways. Currently he is the Principal of Signal Telecommunication Training Institute, South Eastern Railway, Kharagpur.
