Anny Lorena Cortés Ortíz) (born January 4, 1990 in Cali, Valle del Cauca) is a judoka from Colombia.

Early and personal life[edit]

Anny is a member of Liga Vallecaucana de Judo club and she is very good friend with world champion and Olympian Yuri Alvear.[citation needed]

In autumn 2009 she underwent surgery of knee[1] so she could not start at Brazil Judo Grand Prix.

Judo career[edit]

She is a member of Colombian national judo squad in half-heavyweight category and is medal winner from continental games and championships.[citation needed] Her sparring partner is Yuri Alvear.[citation needed]

Cortés won the bronze medal of the team competition of the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games.[2] She also won the gold medal at the under 78 kg and bronze in team competition at 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games.[3]
