The 5 arrondissements of the Seine-et-Marne department are:

  1. Arrondissement of Meaux, (subprefecture: Meaux) with 128 communes. The population of the arrondissement was 283,500 in 2013.
  2. Arrondissement of Melun, (prefecture of the Seine-et-Marne department: Melun) with 91 communes. The population of the arrondissement was 352,926 in 2013.
  3. Arrondissement of Provins, (subprefecture: Provins) with 165 communes. The population of the arrondissement was 163,130 in 2013.
  4. Arrondissement of Fontainebleau, (subprefecture: Fontainebleau) with 84 communes. The population of the arrondissement was 147,544 in 2013.
  5. Arrondissement of Torcy, (subprefecture: Torcy) with 43 communes. The population of the arrondissement was 418,100 in 2013.
