Arthur Pearson CBE (31 January 1897 – 14 October 1980) was a Labour Party politician in the United Kingdom. Pearson was one of eight children of William, born in Saltney, Chester and Margaret (Lewis) Pearson. His father was employed as a Chain Maker in the chain works in Pontypridd. He was elected Member of Parliament (MP) for Pontypridd at a 1938 by-election, and served until his retirement at the 1970 general election. He was a government whip as Comptroller of the Household from 1945 to 1946, and Treasurer of the Household from 1946 until 1951.
Arthur Pearson was unmarried.
