Asadora! is written and illustrated by Naoki Urasawa. The manga began in the 2018 45th issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Big Comic Spirits on October 6, 2018.[1][2] Asadora! is Urasawa's first work published digitally and his first work in the magazine since 21st Century Boys, serialized in 2007.[3] The series' first arc finished in January 2019, and went on hiatus until May of the same year.[4][5] The series went on hiatus again in August 2019 and resumed publication in October of the same year.[6] Shogakukan has compiled its chapters into individual tankōbon volumes. The first volume was published on March 29, 2019.[7] As of August 28, 2020, four volumes have been published.[8]

In North America, Viz Media announced the English release of the manga in July 2020.[9] The first volume will be published on January 19, 2021.[10] The manga has also been licensed in France by Kana,[11] and in Italy by Panini Comics.[12]
