Attero Dominatus is the third album by Swedish heavy metal band Sabaton, as well as the first to feature keyboardist Daniel Mÿhr.
The Latin name is intended to mean 'Destroy Tyranny' (lit. 'Wear down absolute authority'). However it is syntactically incorrect. The imperative verb conjugation should be used in conjunction with the accusative noun form to accurately translate to the command- thus, Attere Dominatum, or Atterete if it is addressed to more than one person.
As with the Primo Victoria album, the lyrics on Attero Dominatus deals with different war subjects. "Nuclear Attack" deals with the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, "Rise of Evil" with the rise of the Third Reich and Adolf Hitler. The song "Back in Control" deals with the Falklands War. "In the Name of God" takes on the situation in the middle-east by tackling suicide bombers and everyone who kills innocent people in the name of god.
