Atya lanipes (Spanish common name: gata[3]) is a freshwater amphidromous[4] shrimp of the Atyidae family in the Decapoda order.[5] It is found widely in the Caribbean[1] and is common in the Toro Negro State Forest in central Puerto Rico.[3]
