Bagmati Rural Municipality is a Rural Municipality in Lalitpur District in Province No. 3 of Nepal that was established in 2017 by merging the former Village development committees Ashrang, Ghusel, Malta, Bhattedanda, Pyutar, Ikudoland Gimdi in March 2017.[1] The center of this rural municipality is located in Old-Bhattedanda. According to 2011 Nepal census, Bagmati Rural Municipality has a population of 13,049.[citation needed]
