Bairabi railway station is a small railway station in Kolasib district, Mizoram. Its code is BHRB. It serves Bairabi city. The station consists of 3 platforms. The platform is not well sheltered. It lacks many facilities including water and sanitation. Bairabi is one of the railhead of Mizoram and connected with a broad gauge line. Katakhal-Bairabi meter gauge line is being converted to broad gauge. Bairabi Sairang Railway is a proposed railway line from Bairabi station to Sairang railway station near Aizawl and is expected to be completed by March 2018 with an estimated cost of Rs 2,384 crore.[2]
