Barahna is a genus of spiders in the Desidae family. It was first circumscribed in 2003 by Valerie Todd Davies. As of 2017[update], it contains 8 Australian species, all described by Davies in 2003.[1]
The generic name's etymology comes from the Bundjalung word for "spider": baran-barahn.[2]
