Bayport is the city used as the setting in the Hardy Boys novels. In the books it is located on Barmet Bay, a horseshoe-shaped inlet three miles from the Atlantic Ocean in the Northeastern United States. Most books are intentionally vague about what state Bayport is in, though The Castle Conundrum definitively places it in New York. It is the residence of The Hardy family and The Morton Family.
