Bhagana is a village in Hisar-I Tehsil in Hisar district, Haryana, India, in Hisar division. It is located 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) east of the district headquarters at Hisar. Its postal head office is Satroad Khurd.
Bhagana village got its name "Bhagana" from a pandit “Bhagu Ram". Bhagu Ram and Thambu Ram were two brothers and each was given piece of land from the King at that time. Pandit Thambu Ram established a village now called village thurana while Pandit Bhagu established village now called Bhagana. After that, in order to expand the village and help the outsiders, pieces of lands were given to other cast’s people who came to live in village Bhagana by Pandit Bhagu Ram and his heirs. Pandit Bhagu Ram and Thambu Ram were of “Vats nagwan” Gotra. However, later many heirs of Pandit Bhagu Ram shifted to other villages like sultanpur, umra, dhandhari etc. After many generations Pt. Adram was born in the family of Pt. Bhagu Ram. The kursinama of Pt. Adram is shown in hierarchy table.
