Bibbiano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Emilia in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northwest of Bologna and about 14 kilometres (9 mi) southwest of Reggio Emilia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,422 and an area of 28.0 square kilometres (10.8 sq mi).[3]

The municipality of Bibbiano contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Barco, Belvedere, Casale di Sopra, Case Catalani, Gattaglio, Ghiardo, Il Folletto, Mangallana, Piazzola, Razza, and San Filippo.

Bibbiano borders the following municipalities: Cavriago, Montecchio Emilia, Quattro Castella, Reggio Emilia, San Polo d'Enza.
