Black Volta is a river that flows through Burkina Faso flowing about 1,352 km (840 mi) to the White Volta in Ghana.[1] The Black Volta separates the Northern region of North Ghana's southern border and the Brong-Ahafo region of South Ghana's northern border.[1] Black Volta forms a small part of the international border between Ghana and Ivory Coast, and also a section of border between Ghana and Burkina Faso, rising in western Burkina Faso.[1]
