Borba (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈbɔɾβɐ]) is a municipality in the District of Évora in Portugal with a total area of 145.0 km² and a total population of 7,562 inhabitants. It was elevated from town to city status on 12 June 2009.[1]
The present Mayor is Ângelo João Verdades de Sá (Socialist). The municipal holiday is Easter Monday.
