Brand New School is a creative design and production studio specializing in commercials, interactive media, branding consultation and design, and music videos.The company was founded by Jonathan Notaro and has offices in New York and Los Angeles. Brand New School has directed commercials for companies including Nike,[1] Apple,[2] Coca-Cola,[3] IKEA,[4] Old Navy,[5] Starbucks,[6] Target[7] and Intel.[8] Additional work includes designing the network identities for Cartoon Network[9] and Fox Fuel,[10] as well as over eighty Art Breaks for both MTV and MTV2.[11] The company has been recognized by AICP,[12] Art Directors Club,[13] D&AD,[14] Cannes Lions,[15] AIGA,[16] and the Type Directors Club.[17] The studio worked with designer Stefan Sagmeister on a brand re-launch for Energias de Portugal.[18]

In addition to Notaro, the company also has several nationally recognized directors on its roster. Chris Dooley joined the company in 2014, and has directed promo videos for Selena Gomez[19] and Demi Lovato,[20] as well as national campaigns for Honda,[21] British Airways,[22] and ESPN.[23] Ben Go leads the creative direction at the company's Los Angeles office, and has helmed campaigns for Toyota, Kellogg's, and Samsung.[24] Robert Bisi has several campaigns to his name under the Brand New School umbrella, including McDonald's, Corona, and Clorox.[25] Dennis Go has done several stop motion spots for the studio, including ads for Starbucks and Ben & Jerry's.
