Plaque for the sculpture

Breaking of the Chains is an outdoor 1995 sculpture by Mel Edwards, installed along San Diego's Martin Luther King Jr. Promenade, in the U.S. state of California.[1][2] The work serves as a tribute to Martin Luther King Jr.
