Gallant won five straight provincial titles in P.E.I. from 2006–10. He holds the record for most all-time wins at the Canadian Juniors (48) which he set after his second win at the 2010 Canadian Junior Curling Championships.

He was the third on the team until 2014, when he was demoted to second upon the return of Mark Nichols to the team. With the Gushue rink, Gallant has played in seven Briers, winning in 2017 and in 2018 and finishing 2nd at the 2016 Tim Hortons Brier. Following the wins in 2017 and 2018, the team represented Canada at the 2017 World Men's Curling Championship, winning a gold medal and at the 2018 World Men's Curling Championship where they won the silver medal. The team also played in the 2017 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials, finishing third. On the World Curling Tour, Gallant has won 10 Grand Slam events as a member of the team.
