Brewcaria is a genus of the botanical family Bromeliaceae, subfamily Pitcairnioideae. The genus is named for Charles Brewer-Carías, Venezuelan explorer and naturalist. It contains 6 known species, all native to Colombia and Venezuela.[1][2][3]
