The Burmese people in Bangladesh consists mostly people who emigrated to Bangladesh from Myanmar, mostly political and ethnic refugees. Most Burmese people in Bangladesh are Rohingya people, however as Burmese Government refuses to consider them an ethnic group.[1][2][3] Other large immigrants are the Rakhines.
