Calum Ferguson (born February 12, 1995) is a Scottish-Canadian footballer who currently plays as a forward for Albion Rovers. Ferguson has previously played for Inverness Caledonian Thistle, as well as Montrose on loan.

Career

Club

After progressing through the youth ranks at Inverness, Ferguson made the game-day squad for the first time with the Caley Jags against his former club Ross County on May 19, 2013.[1] Ferguson was loaned to Montrose in early 2014.[2] He played four games before his loan ended. He would again make the game-day squad with Inverness against Partick Thistle on February 7, 2015 in the Scottish Cup.[3] Ferguson finally made his debut for Inverness against Kilmarnock on February 21 as a substitute in a 3–3 draw.[4] After leaving Inverness at the end of the 2015–16 season, Ferguson signed for Scottish League One side Albion Rovers in July 2016, after impressing as a trialist in a pre-season friendly against Motherwell.[5]

International

Ferguson's mother was born in Canada, and as a result he has eligibility for both Canada and Scotland. He made his debut for Canada at the under-18 level at the 2013 Torneo COTIF,[6] where he scored a goal against Belarus.[7] In 2014 he progressed to the under-20 team and participated at the 2014 Milk Cup[8] and the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Championship.[9]
