This category is about the children of John Winthrop Chanler and Margaret Astor Chanler of the Astor family. Their eleven children became orphans after the death of their mother in December 1875, and their father in October 1877, both to pneumonia. The children, who received a large inheritance and were known as the "Astor Orphans", were raised at their parents' estate in Rokeby, New York.
