Bias =
[edit]Why exactly are there no leaders from the African-Arab-Islamic world here? This is a list so heavily biased towards the interests of white supremacist, Western gays that the stories of non-Western identifying LGBTQIANB+ peoples are completely excluded. It's honestly disgusting. 2A00:23C6:1406:4E00:44EE:6F41:3941:7C2F (talk) 17:01, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
- If you know of qualifying individuals who have WP articles but are not included in the category, you could add the category to their pages rather than complaining that no one else has done it yet. PohranicniStraze (talk) 19:35, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
Category cleanup
[edit]I'm going to start cleaning up this category, primarily by removing the large number of politicians who have opposed gay marriage in some form during their careers. This alone does not qualify them as activists. Per WP:OPINIONCAT: Avoid categorizing people by their personal opinions, even if a reliable source can be found for the opinions. This includes supporters or critics of an issue ... Please note, however, the distinction between holding an opinion and being an activist, the latter of which may be a defining characteristic.
