The firm of Martinez Architects, Inc. (MAI) was founded in 1981 by Norberto R. Martinez, AIA, and has successfully grown at a moderate yearly rate, becoming a very strong Architectural, Planning, Interiors, and Project Management firm.

For 25 years, our outstanding performance record has been the main reason why MAI has received many repeat assignments from both governmental agencies and private industry. We have established our reputation by the quality of our work, our compliance with performance schedules, and our adherence to design and construction budgets. MAI is highly experienced in the areas of site studies and master planning; design of new construction; rehabilitation and remodel of existing structures; and the preservation of historical buildings in the Southern California area.

The types of structures for which MAI has provided architectural and engineering services includes schools, city halls, libraries, administrative offices, community and child care centers, maintenance facilities, materials recovery facilities, manufacturing and warehousing facilities, and housing projects.
