False Information.

[edit]

With all due respect, a numer of these settlements i know for certain not to be of Aromian origin, i know the locals and i am myself one amognst them. The vlachs living among us and the greeks perfectly know who is who and the Vlachs are aware how they came to some villages by marriage and that the indigenous population is Greek in many of them. Secondly if we are to take it historically, even the articles themselves speak of the ancient origins of cities, and that is merely logically and historically inconsistent. To suggest that the cities of Arta or Metsovo who were main hubs of greek population during the byzantine and ottoman Eras are Vlach is ahistoric and illogical at best. But even smaller villages are falsely identified as Vlach, such as Elatochori( of which i am a native and know who the aromanian origin families are, as well as they themselves do and distinguish themselves from the pre existing Greeks), Flampourari, Makrino, Dilakko and i am sure, by the inconsistency of this list that there are many others. I would call for the remaking of the list and if not i will be editing it myself — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.92.162.7 (talk) 20:38, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
