Lara Croft

[edit]

Why is everyone else listed by last name but not Lara Croft? Is there anyway to fix this? 108.207.118.220 (talk) 03:54, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I did a search for "Fictional archaeologists" and this page was not listed in the first two pages of hits. I only found it by going to one of the fictional archaeologists and noting the X-ref to this page. Can this be fixed some-how?

Also, here are two more fictional archaeologists, both from Inca Gold by clive Cussler: Mikki Moore and Shannon Kelsey. Kdammers (talk) 07:37, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Jackie Chan

[edit]

Shouldn't Jackie Chan from Jackie Chan Adventures be included in this category? Alpheta (talk) 04:46, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

More suggestions

I've just discovered this page and will add something on the following, and possibly others, at a more decent time next week:

Snake from the Simpsons, who was archaeologist Professor Jailbird, before becoming a crim.

Gina Diggers from the comic book series Gold Digger. Her sister Brittany is listed]

Alan Graham - from a whodunnit series by Malcolm Shuman [[[Special:Contributions/60.242.50.195|60.242.50.195]] (talk) 15:06, 7 May 2011 (UTC)][reply]

Nathan Lee Swift and Dr. David Ochs, both in Year Zero (2002) by Jeff Long (writer).

Another one

Europa (real name Donna Eden), an environmentalist and archaeologist, is a figure in Captain Euro. Kdammers (talk) 06:54, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Marcell is a promising future archaeologist in Frau jenny Treibel. Kdammers (talk) 12:24, 6 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fictional Archaeologists vs Treasure Hunters

[edit]

A lot of these are media examples (Tomb Raider, Indian Jones, Uncharted etc.) are about treasure hunters and not archaeologists. Archaeology is a scientific profession not gun toting looters. I see there is a category for "explorers" and maybe some of them would be more appropriate for that category or a new one for "treasure hunters". JanderVK (talk) 17:07, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
