Purpose of this category?

Could someone explain what is the purpose of this category? Film score composing, surely, is not at all demonstrably something of which the quality or nature of the result is anything to do at all with the gender of its creator? Alfietucker (talk) 10:23, 17 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
