Untitled[edit]

I would like to know if it is true that Josef Mengele earned the Iron Cross for rescuing the crew of a burning tank, under fire, and rendering medical assistance to them, on the Russian Front some time before becomming known as the Angel of Death at Auschwitz-Birkenau? William Dyk (willdyk@hotmail.com)

The story is true. He was a monstrous killer who showed courage. Still a monster.--Tresckow 00:48, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
