Crime in the United States

[edit]

Since most of the articles are about areas where prostitution was previously legal, perhaps the category should be removed from the base articles? It clearly doesn't belong on this category. Someidiot (talk) 04:17, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In the US, prostitution is/has been generally illegal and red light districts are part of criminal enterprises, even if the local police sometimes have tolerated them. They are properly categorized. Hmains (talk) 04:54, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It's generally appropriate to reply to comments directly rather than starting a new category.
As for your claims, you might want to hold off on editing subject areas that you don't know much about. Try reading Prostitution, Prostitution in the United States, and some of the base articles of this category to get some background. Someidiot (talk) 07:38, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The articles and their categories only support my contention that this article belongs in a US crime category. And your patronizing attitude is unhelpful in a discussion and against WP rules. Hmains (talk) 03:50, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
