Inclusion in categories[edit]

I am not sure that this category should be a sub-category of Category:2014 in American tennis or Category:2014 in sports in Nevada. Generally categories relating to sporting tournaments are only in a year category if that was the only year the event was held, which is not the case for the Red Rock Pro Open. Up until know the articles in the category related to only the 2014 tournament, but as it seemed silly not to include the articles on later Red Rock tournaments in a category about the tournament as a whole I have a) removed the category from 2014 only categories b) created a separate category, Category:2014 Red Rock Pro Open for the articles relating to the 2014 tournament (other than the main article). This seems like a sensible solution for now, but am happy to discuss further. Dunarc (talk) 22:38, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
