The Central District of Kalaleh County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان کلاله) is in Golestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Kalaleh.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 103,983 in 22,536 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 84,064 people in 21,970 households,[5] by which time Zavkuh Rural District had been separated from the district in the establishment of Pishkamar District.[6] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 90,342 inhabitants in 25,604 households.[2]
