The Postal Museum (Chinese: 郵政博物館; pinyin: Yóuzhèng Bówùguǎn) is a museum located on Nanhai Street in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan. The museum encompasses four floors and covers the history of Chunghwa Post (the postal service for the Republic of China and Taiwan), the modern postal service, philately, and special exhibitions.[1]
The museum opened at a location in Xindian on March 20, 1967, on the 70th anniversary of Chunghwa Post. Due to remoteness of the Xindian location and the lack of space, the museum was moved to its present location in the Nanhai Academy in 1985.
Transportation
The museum is within walking distance of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall Station of the Taipei Metro.
