Crevalcore is a town and comune in the Emilia-Romagna region near Bologna, Italy. On 10 March 1628, Marcello Malpighi, a doctor who taught medicine in the Papal Medical School and wrote a long treatise about his studies which he donated to the Royal Society of London, was born here.

there also e great artist was born; gaetano Lodi, who painted a lot of things in Bologna.

In Crevalcore there was also a theatre which is painted by him.
