Cunninghamella echinulata is a fungus species in the genus Cunninghamella.

Biotechnology use

Cunninghamella echinulata has been used to transform cortexolone to hydrocortisone.[1]

Hydroxylation of biphenyl oxide has been studied in C. echinulata.[2]
