Datla is a common surname of the Kshatriya community of Andhra Pradesh. Datla belongs to the Dhananajaya gotra.[1]

Notable people bearing this name include:

Datla - Labana Clan

Alternatively, Datla is also the name of a Punjabi clan in Labana. These are also called Makhan Shah and Gujre. These are found in Kangra and Hoshiarpur. There has been no indication linking the Punjabi tribe and the clan from Andhra except the similarity in the name.
