Detrimentalist is an album by Canadian breakcore artist Venetian Snares, released June 9, 2008.

Tracks that have been sampled on the album include Elephant Man's "Haters Wanna War", KRS-One's "Phucked" and Maestro Fresh Wes' "Let Your Backbone Slide".

Track titles 3 ("Sajtban": "In Cheese") and 9 ("Bebikukorica": "Baby Corn") are written in Hungarian; also note that "Balaton" (Track 10) is a Hungarian lake.

Track 6 ("Poo Yourself Jason") is named both in response to a song called "Pee Yourself Aaron" written by Bong-Ra and a song called "Brace Yourself Jason" by µ-Ziq.

On the second track, "Koonut-Kaliffee", the voice of Leonard Nimoy as commander Spock is used as a sample. It was taken from Star Trek: The Original Series episode "Amok Time"". The Koon-ut-kal-if-fee is a Vulcan mating ritual in the Star Trek universe.

Track 3 ("Sajtban") is featured in House of Cards season 2 episode 12.
