Didier Guillaume (born 11 May 1959) is a member of the Senate of France , representing the Drôme department. He is also the President of the Drôme General Council. In 2008, after his election as senator, he had resigned his post as mayor of the commune of Bourg-de-Péage , which is the chef-lieu of the canton of the same name, represented by Guillaume in the General Council. He is a member of the Socialist Party and Vice-President of the Socialist Group in the Senate. He has been vice-president of the senate since 2011.
