Dighiar is a village in Keotirunway block [1] of Darbhanga district in Bihar, India. This is 17 km far from darbhanga and 18 km from madhubani city. The name dighiar was came because it reside at the bank of a big pond(BADH POKHAR) which means side of a pond. This village has Islam as religion follow deobandi ideology. The population of Dighiar is 4921 according to census 2001 in which the male population is 2534 and female population is 2387.[2]
