Dilip Ray (b. 9 January 1954 Rourkela) is an Ex- Member of the Parliament of India representing Orissa in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament. He was a union minister of state for coal in Atal Bihari Vajpayee government in 1998.

Dilip Ray is also the founder and CMD of Mayfair Group of Hotels,a leading hospitality group in Eastern India.He has a passion for low rise boutique hotels.

He had studied law and Masters in Business Administration. He is son of Shri Hrushikesh and has 2 sons and 1 daughter.
