Disney Riviera Resort is a proposed Disney Vacation Club resort at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida. It is being built by Walt Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. It will be the first newly-constructed resort on the new Disney Skyliner gondola system.[1] It is expected to open in fall of 2019.[2][3]

Plans for the 300-room resort were released during the D23 Expo in 2017.[1] The hotel would be the 15th Disney Vacation Club property to be built.[1][2] It is also one of two hotels announced during the 2017 D23 Expo, the other being Star Wars Hotel.[2] The Riviera Resort is one of the 23 improvements to Disney Parks announced during D23.[4]

Bob Chapek, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, stated that the hotel would include a restaurant on its roof, providing views of Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.[1]
