Disney XD Southeast Asia (known as Disney XD in idents and commercials) is a cable and satellite television channel that broadcasts in the Southeast Asia region, owned by the Disney Channels Worldwide unit of the United States-based Disney–ABC Television Group, operated by The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia. It is aimed primarily at children, 6–14 years old.[3][5]

Due to lack of availability in some places some XD originals are broadcast on Disney Channel instead. Some are broadcast on both channels.

Availability[edit]

Disney XD first began broadcasting in Malaysia on September 15, 2012.[1] The channel was expanded to Singapore on March 16, 2013,[2] Indonesia and Thailand on October 19, 2013, and lastly, the Philippines on May 31, 2014. It has also been made available in Bangladesh since 2016.
